In this project carried out at the port of Sotogrande, we undertook a meticulous varnishing process on the teak deck of a vessel that showed clear signs of wear due to prolonged exposure to sunlight, saltwater, and continuous use.

Our objective was to restore the wood’s natural gloss, protection, and elegance, while preserving the vessel’s classic aesthetic and enhancing its resistance to harsh marine conditions.

The process began with thorough surface preparation, including careful sanding of the entire deck to remove deteriorated varnish, impurities, and minor imperfections. We then applied multiple coats of high-performance marine-grade varnish, specifically formulated for nautical environments, ensuring long-lasting protection against UV radiation, moisture, and abrasion.

In addition to the varnishing work, we carried out professional polishing of the vessel’s exterior wooden elements, including handrails, trim, and structural details, achieving a uniform, high-gloss, and refined finish.

Este tipo de restauraciones no solo aportan valor visual, sino que prolongan significativamente la vida útil de los elementos en madera expuestos, manteniendo la embarcación en condiciones óptimas tanto funcional como visualmente.
